Jana Sojka is a Polish-born visual artist known for her nostalic photography, collages, and analog animations. Born in southern Poland, she spent her early years there before relocating to England, where she currently lives and creates.
Her work reflect embodying themes of nostalgia, solitude, and the passage of time.
Using long exposures and analog techniques, she paints with light, creating an almost painterly effect in her images. The quiet stillness of her compositions evokes a
sense of awe and invites the viewer to reflect on their connection to nature. The tones and soft contrasts of her photog raphs add a nostalgic quality, as if pulling the viewer into a forgotten memory.
